The Executive Branch is the branch that carries out laws and enforces them. The executive branch includes the president, vice president, the Cabinet, executive departments, independent agencies, and other boards, commissions, and committees. The power of the executive branch is vested in the president. The president would act as head of state and the commander-in-chief of the armed forces. The Legislative Branch is made up of two houses of congress, the two houses are the Senate and House of Representatives. The legislative branch has a very important duty which is to make laws.
