I'm doing my essay on Harriet Tubman. She was born January 24, 1820 in Maryland, Md with her parents and siblings. Her parents where slaves so she was born into slavery. Her mom name is Harriet Greene I guess she was named after her mom. Her father’s name is Ben Ross she did have her father’s last name then he married Mary Bordess. Harriet and her family wasn’t close she was close with her mom. Almost all her siblings were sold so there wasn’t a relationship. Harriet died of pneumonia at the age of 93 on March 10, 1913 in auburn, NY
