The word “Hero” definition is a person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities. There are heroes in this essay that saved jews. These heroes are Irena Sendler, Gino Bartali, and Albert Goering. Preamble humans are the righteous among the nations, people who risked their lives to save jews. In this essay I will be talking about three heroes who risked their lives to save jews. Irena Sendler was a Polish social worker during World War II, she helped to rescue 2,500 Jewish children from the Warsaw Ghetto, and placed them in convents or with non-Jewish families.
