Romeo and Juliet, in Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, were blinded by their love for each other to the point where they were senseless in the choices they were making. Their plan to be together in the end was so messy that there wasn’t the smallest possibility of success. They could have come up with a much easier and faster way if they took their time and thought about each other. Juliet and Friar Laurence did not even tell Romeo about the potion that Friar Laurence gives to Juliet to make her look like she is dead to trick her parents and the public. When Romeo found Juliet on her deathbed, all he wanted was to be with her. So he killed himself because he did not want to live without her.

In the play, Romeo and Juliet need to create a scheme so they can be together forever and so they talk to Friar Laurence and he creates a plan where he will give a potion to Juliet to make her appear dead but only for 48 hours. Friar Laurence sends a letter to Romeo telling him the whole plan but it does not get to him. Friar Laurence was going to wake Juliet up later and take her to Romeo in Mantua, but the plan did not go as planned. The nurse ends up finding her and believing she is dead so they do not have a wedding for Juliet and Paris but a funeral for Juliet where she is put into the

Romeo and Juliet both had strict parents who did not and would not let them be together because of the family feud they had. There has never been a full reason the family’s hate each other found, it was never said in the original play and nobody has figured out a reason behind it.
“What’s in a name?” (Act 2, scene 2) Juliet says, wondering why her name defines whom she can be with. She believes that a name is just simply a name and it has nothing to do with the person behind it.
