Mexico came into existence on September 27, 1821. Montezuma II was a famous ruler, he was a ruler of the Aztecs when Spanish explorer Hernan Cortes conquered the land now known as Mexico in 1521. Cuauhtemoc, was the nephew of Montezuma II, was the last of the Aztec emperors. He died while fighting to save his people and way of life. Mexico became a city by the remains of a popular city back 13000 years ago. So pretty much is just the remainings of a popular city back then. They are remembered as little angles. The second day of the dead are when you remember the older ones who have passed away.
