This made me take a step back and focus on getting better. The second I was clear, I had gotten a second concussion. At that point, I just wanted to be done with the season and thought that keeping it a secret was the best idea. There were two weeks left of the season and in that time I got two balls to the head and hit my head off the ground. The last game I finally mentioned that I really didn’t feel good and I was severely dizzy, nauseous, and my eyesight was blurrier than usual. After that game I went to the doctors and was told that I had a severe concussion and may have even needed an MRI. Luckily enough I didn’t need an MRI, but the best thing that happened was that I was shown that my physical well being needs to be at the top of my priority list. I was cleared from my severe concussion almost four months ago and I still get severe headaches that last multiple days at a time. Many medicines no longer work for my headaches. My vision hasn’t been blurry since about a month after I got cleared from my second concussion. I could have avoided all of this by taking my first concussion more seriously and being honest when I first hit my head the second time
