My Leadership Philosophy

A leader is someone who can influence his community, a person people can look up to. History has known many so-called leaders who abused of their charisma to control the world. However, today's societies need leaders who, thanks to their leadership skills and to their vision and determination, can lead them to a better, brighter Tomorrow.

Leadership, many people told me, was born within my blood. I worked hard so that my skills could thrive, because in participating in every activity I had the opportunity to be part of, I made leadership a lifestyle. It all indeed started with being a Scout Boy, where I had been educated on how to live fully with respect of self and others, abiding by the rules and the Law and transmitting my knowledge and my service freely to whoever needs them. And after I recieved a position as a leader, I started realizing that the vague word "leader" is not a position held, nor a chair you earn the chance to sit on; it means dedication, sharing, caring and sacrifice. I then transformed leadership into something sacred, a notion I should respect and honor, a concept I should get more familiar with and practice. Practice. I intend to continue getting involved in extracurricular activities, ones in which my skills can blossom; engage in multi-cultural communities in the heart of which I spread the leadership ideology in favor of our future; ranking academically between the firsts and lauching important team projects, because "Leadership and Learning are indispensable to each other", says John Kennedy... Moreover, the best role one could play as a leader is to be a model, a good example in front of the others, and this is exactly how I want to spend my college
