The defining characteristics that are expected of every National Honors Society member are scholarship, character, service, and leadership. I believe that I have exhibited these characteristics throughout my years in high school. Firstly, I have always put the utmost effort into my school work. Throughout these years, I have challenged myself through honors and Advanced Placement classes, and I will continue to do so in future years. In the past, I have made a point of always doing my best to be a friendly and cheerful individual, as well as honest and reliable. I have always endeavored to follow my morals and show courtesy, respect, and concern for others. Also, I have unfailingly observed school and classroom guidelines and rules.
