Helping all students reach the same level of cognitive achievement is a noble goal, but I am not sure if it is a realistic one. From what I have seen, there are always students who will put in more effort than others no matter how a teacher tries to motivate them. For me, I think I could meet this goal of equity in other fields that work with children. In some fields, I could help children reach this goal of equity physically as well as mentally. For example, in pediatrics I could help a sick child become well, allowing them to reach the same levels as other children physically and mentally. Since I have added equity to my concept of teacher roles, I have also added it to my concept of personal fulfillment. Yet I am aware that I can reach this fulfillment in areas other than
