There are seven of us, my dad and mom, Pete and Julie, my older brother, Astion (20), and my three younger sisters, Mikaela (15), Bridget (12), and Cheyenne (6). My family is very supportive with the decisions that I have to make. Do to there being a lot of us, we are limited to the things that we can or want to do. My sisters are in gymnastics and skating. My brother is going to college and does a lot of fishing. I am still in golf and do a lot of horseback riding. My mom is a dance teacher and my dad works for a vactruck company. We live on a small hobby farm and have horses, rabbits, cats, and dogs. I grew up playing in the pasture. We did everything from making forts to swimming and kayaking in it when the river raises too much. Due to me being the oldest kid in the house, I do a lot of extra things for my family. I started to attend Virginia High School in the seventh grade. I like all of the different classes and sports that I am able to choose from. The faculty is very understanding and are willing to work with you. I feel that I am getting a better education with the wide variety of classes that I am/have taken. I am proud to say that I have taken two years of German and was able to go to Germany the summer of 2015. I also was accepted into the A Capella Choir and was able to participate in our schools music department's trip to California in the spring of 2015. With a lot of hard work and determination I was able to pay for the trips on my own. Going in knowing that my parents would not be able to help me, I did as much fundraising and worked as many hours as possible. I fundraised all the money for my trip to California and just shy of half of the money for my trip to Germany. In California I was able to participate in a choir workshop at DisneyLand and sang for people at Seaworld. In Germany I was able to go and participate in a little exchange. I went and stayed with a host family and I was able to go and attend school with my host sister and host brothers. I thought that it was a complete blast and would do it all again in a heart
