Oppression is an issue in society. It is the foundation or the root of conflicts and struggles that occur everyday, because oppression is a repeated pattern of injustice. You see these conflicts every day between political parties, men and women, ethnic groups, and even in the workplace. These individuals or groups who experience oppression often feel unimportant; their voices are not being heard, and that their lives do not matter. Then there are those who see these injustices around them and choose to fight them. They choose to find ways to fight for their rights, and the rights of others as well. They have chosen to stop their oppression and have found power to fight for what is right.
