It is in adversity that you can become improve and strengthen yourself. Michael Jordan may never have been as good if he wasn’t faced with the adversity of making JV instead of varsity basketball as a sophomore in highschool. He could have cried about the decision, however he used it to motivate him and strengthen him to become better the next year. In that year he grew six inches and became more skilled in every category, eventually going on to become one of the greatest players ever. There is a saying, “Minor setback for a major comeback,” that I can also relate to. I was faced with adversity in 8th grade when I broke my arm playing football.
