The classroom environment at St. Clement was very open, hands on, and challenging. Outside of the classroom, though, homework was rare.
Transitioning to a classroom size of eight individuals I grew up with to classroom sizes of twenty to thirty complete strangers was a challenge that caused stress and anxiety. My freshman and sophomore years of high school proved to be a challenge environmentally; I struggled with familiarizing myself with the block scheduling and making friends. I strived academically, due to the fact that most of the work I accomplished in these two years was predominantly busy work and review.
