George Floyd is not the only victim of police brutality, or the first police brutality to get more noticed in the 2000s than in the 1900s, which is a good sign of the end of it. To begin with, racial discrimination plays a big role in police brutality, especially when you look at how many people of color, including African Americans, Hispanics, Chinese, etc., have died from police violence compared to white people. While doing my research, I found that according to “Statistics, the number of people killed each year from 2013 to 2024” is that every year, 1,000 people are killed by police. Another 250,000 are injured, which is not a good look for the police or the government, especially since all of those numbers are people who committed little to no crime, but sadly, some families don't get justice at all because nobody witnessed it. The police officer says they did something to give them an excuse to kill or hurt them, but some people get lucky to get the injustice on video for evidence.
