Response to Intervention (RTI) “integrates assessment and intervention within a multi-level prevention system to maximize student achievement and to reduce behavioral problems.” RTI is a system used in schools that helps struggling students, observes the students’ progress, and engages students with the proper intervention. The RTI system is sectioned into different levels. . The three levels are labeled as Primary level, Secondary level, and Tertiary level. The Primary level is used for all students. The Secondary level is used for students who do not respond or need further instruction than the Primary level. Sometimes in the Secondary level the instruction is done is smaller groups.
