Scholarship has shaped my development as a knowledgeable and conscientious student in many ways. As a scholar, I have become aware of the world around me and how the different things we learn in and out of school are found in different aspects of daily life. Scholarship will be used in my goal of attaining a Bachelors of Arts degree in Political Science because I will apply myself in my work and always make sure to study the material I learn in class, as well as reading up on my course of study out of class as well. This will benefit me because the more I learn, I will be able to understand how the government and law work, so I can help defend those who have been treated unjustly.

This will serve me well in college because I will be working hard with my own knowledge and not cheating to try and get ahead. As a student of character, I have also shown respect to all my teachers and I have exemplified good behavior for my peers by doing my work on time and also never skipping any of my classes. I have also show friendliness to all of my peers and I have always been a cheerful person that enjoys making new friends and making new people feel more comfortable. These traits can allow me to be the best that I can be as a lawyer because respecting others and being diligent and honest in my work goes a long way. I also will show respect to all my professors, as well as respecting their time and commitment to teach us, by being engaged in school and learning the material.
