Do students want to not have to wake up so early to go to school? Most schools start early in the morning, in the range of 7am to 9am. This is causing students who have homework, after school activities, hobbies, to go to bed late. When students go to bed late, it can cause students to become sleep deprived, depressed, and possibly lead to car accidents. This is why people are arguing why school start times should be later. Students with a later start time are healthier because they have time to get more sleep, and with more sleep, students will be more productive. One reason why late start times are better for students is because they will get more sleep.
