My senior year in highschool has been quite the growing experience. I have grown in many ways, the way I think, the way I learn, the way I process information, the way I interact with others, and most importantly, how I’ve grown to be who I am now. I am aware that this is only the beginning of my journey, much more is to come. The biggest learning milestones from senior year are: being punctual, be aware of what I need to fix and work on about myself, and knowing who is my support group. These different milestones are something I truly believe I can carry into the future of my college career, and military career.

In the past I have had problems with being late; punctuality was a word I’ve never even heard of. What's the importance of being on time? I have learned that if you’re not where you’re suppose to be- when you’re suppose to be there, you’re gonna end up getting left out on the event; or better yet make a fool of yourself walking into the room when the event has already started. In some cases being late can be very consequential. I’ve grown to prioritize events so that I can partake appropriately.

If a person is able to identify things that he or she should work and improve on then they are able to grow as person. I have become more aware of my own self and how I need to improve. Primarily on my tardiness, I have grown to be punctual, which will be beneficial in my career in the Marines and college.
