At this age, everything is changing. Day by Day we don’t notice, but just look back over the past year and you will realize everything has. People you thought were going to be there forever aren’t, and people you never imagined you’d be speaking to are now some of your closest friends. Life makes little sense, and the more we grow the less sense it will make. So make the most of now, before it all changes once again, because in the end near future, all of this is going to be memories. Senior year is very stressful but cool at the same time. If you asked me if I was ready for college back at the beginning of senior year I would’ve immediately said heck no. I wasn’t to completely change the world that only recently began to comfort me. But now , as an official high school graduate I am filled with nothing but excitement as I close this chapter of my life and move on to the next. I have some key bites of advice to leave behind for you future seniors. You need to do what you want and what’s right for you. Whether that’s means perusing the career that you want vs the one that makes money or even something as little as choosing not to drink at a party even when everyone else is. No one can tell you what is right for you. You are in control of your life your own life, don’t forget that and don’t let someone convince you otherwise. Don’t feel guilty if what’s right someone else isn’t right for you vice versa.
