In the fall semester of my junior year, I was placed in advanced placement classes because of my academic achievements coupled with the extracurricular activities. Throughout the semester I prepared myself for the SAT and ACT. I decided not to take the exams until my senior year. Over the summer prior to my senior year, I practiced online applications and decided I would apply under a particular college’s early decision or early action programs. I also maintained my correspondence with my school of interest. My senior year, I submitted my FASFA, made a final lists of my schools of interest and have taken the SAT. Although I have gotten lots of things accomplished, I still have many things to do over the year. I still have to make an official transcript, collect acceptance letters and fill out scholarships.
