How would you feel if your child’s teacher had a gun? Some people think this needs to happen, some don't. Teachers should not be allowed to have guns because a student could steal them and they could also abuse their power.

One reason for not allowing a teacher to have a gun is due to the fact that it could possibly be stolen by a student. For example, teachers sometimes talk about how students steal water, snacks, and other belongings from them. What makes a gun different?

Another reason for not allowing a teacher to have a gun is that they could abuse their power. A teacher having a gun would give them more power over students. It could even cause some students to be scared to speak up against teachers if something happens.
