Who gives them the right to deal into another country’s affairs? They cannot disvalue a constitution that does not pertain to them. They do not understand what this document means for people who vote for government officials. As the American people, we give power to the government by voting for them to represent us in congress. We elect leaders we strongly feel will know what is best for American interests. Gwynne Dyer, a London based independent journalist, describes voters as a mob. No one wants a mob voting, but government officials who have the knowledge to make the right decision. She even goes on to talk about how the president has far less power than other democratic countries, proving that the electoral college is needed to greater represent the country and provide America with a dominant leadership. No, we do not worship our founding fathers, we just view them as highly intelligent beings, who created a master key for rules to follow.
