Why was Germany so willing to have Hitler take control? In the 1930’s, Germany was struggling with confidence in their government. The people were weak and lacked confidence and let him persuade them in his favor. Hitler found his chance to come in and tried to take over the government. Hitler used propaganda and promises to take control of Germany in a time of trouble.
Hitler rose to power in a time of economic need in Germany. They had just lost WWI and were forced into the Treaty of Versailles (Kaiser).
