Did you ever see a great movie or funny TV show and tell yourself “that’s who I want to be”? Most people would say yes and as a kid I was definitely one of them. Same goes for a young kid born just outside of West Philadelphia the multitalented and heart moving Will Smith. Will Smith known as amazing actor did not start his career that way. Did you know that? The average person actually doesn’t but Will Smith first started with the music industry becoming good friends with a DJ by the name of Jeff Townes who the two both made music together (biography.com/people/will-smith). He then went on to a very know musician with plenty of radio play all across the country. It wasn’t long before he quickly ran into Benny Medina who had an interesting idea of a sitcom over Will Smith’s life and background story. Will definitely has an act for success and grew fond of being liked in the eyes of many. Not only has he warm the hearts of many with his talents he also has an entire army helping him out. Actress Jada Smith is his wife with their two lovely kids Jaden and Willow Smith. The “Pursuit of Happiness” was one of Will Smith most moving roles were he plays a father who fights to find a job to provide for his son who Jaden Smith also plays a 6 year old in the movie. Willow also is a star of her own with a hit record known as “Whip My Hair” not only is Will Smith a success the apple didn’t fall far from the tree with his children. Will Smith may be just an actor but he is also an icon. Many kids growing up out of West Philadelphia in a rough neighborhood usually do not make it out as successful as he has been.
