Windshield Survey of the Northwest Wing of the City of Warren Windshield survey is a method of simple observation. It provides a quick overview of a community and can be used to visualize a general overview sense of the community (Stanhope & Lancaster, 2016). This windshield survey covers a Northwest wing of the city of Warren. This city is located in Macomb County in the U.S. state of Michigan. According to the 2010 census the city's population was at 134,056 individuals. This placed Warren as the largest city in Macomb County, the third largest city in Michigan (cityofWarren, n.d.). Second, the community of Warren considered to be rich in the commercial and industrial establishments. It has many local stores, convenient stores, supermarkets, hardware stores, clothing stores and gas stations in every corner of each road. Third, the community of the city of warren is very diverse in nature; it is a mixture of all cultures together. It has ethnicities of: Arab, Polish, Irish, along with some Asian ancestry. This part of Warren is also pretty special linguistically. Significantly, about 9.3% of its residents who are five years old and above primarily speak Arabic at home. While this may seem like a small percentage, it is higher than 99.8% of the neighborhoods in America (neighborhoodscout, n.d.). Unfortunately, among the observable weaknesses in the city of Warren were: First, the congested traffic during the rush hours, and many vehicle accidents were indicated. Second, the loud noises from the heavy equipment were used either for transportations or road repair. Third, the presence of fast food restaurants in abundance, while the lack of the Gymnasium and exercise facilities. Actually, the closest exercise facility is three to four miles away.
