They really exercised teamwork and because of this, they have a great childcare facility. The students are well trained. Meaning, the students were well mannered and knew what their educators expected of them. Even when the students became frustrated and began to have tantrums, the teachers did not show any frustration and remain calm. The teachers are very positively influential. When students sneeze they remind them to cover their mouth and say excuse me. They even exercise manners with the class by having everyone say bless you when a student sneezes. The educators remind the students to respect one another by saying excuse me and thank-you. The lesson was effective because the students were very interested in the lesson and afterwards they were still talking about items that started with J while they ate lunch. This shows that the children successfully learned and obtained the material being taught. The learning material was hands-on and the educators were very engaging and involved. The program implemented a curriculum that was consistent with its goals for children and promotes learning and development in each of the following areas: social, emotional, physical, language, and cognitive, (NAYEC for families). I believe that this program has fully provided all of the ten NAEYC standards for high-quality programs, (Gordon & Browne). I definitely learned a lot from observing this class and would use some of these tips in my future
