Social media can have a high effect on depression and other mental health issues among teens and young adults. Nowadays, when children become aware of their surroundings at a very young age, such as two-year-olds, they are automatically exposed to technology, and, unfortunately, they do not have the enclosure that past kids had with their family and friends when they were the same age. How is it that nobody in this world has not noticed that technology is killing our society, and most importantly, the next generation that will form the world one day in the future? Technology is a big part of our lives and it makes life a lot easier to get information and to communicate. Ray Bradbury, the author of Fahrenheit 451, and Steven Pinker convey that technology is a harmful danger to people and society because it decreases peoples minds' intelligence and can be a big distraction for all people. Technology is a harmful tool for people because it decreases their intelligence level and their knowledge. Now, this would be caused by people stopping thinking and leaving all their ideas to be formed by technology and AI. As people stop thinking about the importance of life over time, they will soon realize it will be difficult for them to think about something important that they do in their lives.
