Ryder Wettig Mrs. Bailey Language Arts 15 March 2024 The Drawbacks of a Four-Day School Schedule In recent years the idea of switching to a four-day schedule has been increasing among schools in the United States, and this includes about 900 school districts in about twenty-four states. However, a four-day schedule can have a negative impact on students. A four-day school week would make the school day longer and a four-day schedule can be harmful to students' education and mental health.
