Vincent van Gogh was a famous painter, known for his amazing art and had a major mental illness that would claim his life. Van Gogh was born in Groot-Zundert, Netherlands, on March 30th, 1853, to Theodorus van Gogh and Anna Cornelia Carbentus. He was born the 2nd oldest of five; two brothers and three sisters. You might know him probable from one of his last painting; “Starry Night”. A person may also know him for one of his other paintings; “Café Terrace at Night”. His mental illness was a big problem for him.
