The Boston Massacre was an event in history where there was bloodshed which led to a trial. This incident happened on March 5, 1770, in Boston, Province of Massachusetts Bay. It started with a provoked crowd, crowing on a handful of soldiers. Due to the crowds' behavior and their blaring noises, one of the soldiers mistook one of their voices as a command to fire their weapon. One of the first victims of this shooting was Crispus Attucks. At the trial, both Kilroy and Montgomery were charged with murder. The fault of the Boston Massacre was caused by the soldiers on duty. One of the main arguments in this event was the false command to fire their guns. No orders were given once or ever for the soldiers to fire their guns. They fired on their …show more content…

The citizens would go on and provoke the soldiers both verbally and physically.
