The Boston Massacre was an event in history where there was bloodshed which led to a trial. This incident happened on March 5, 1770, in Boston, Province of Massachusetts Bay. It started with a provoked crowd, crowing on a handful of soldiers. Due to the crowds' behavior and their blaring noises, one of the soldiers mistook one of their voices as a command to fire their weapon. One of the first victims of this shooting was Crispus Attucks. At the trial, both Kilroy and Montgomery were charged with murder. The fault of the Boston Massacre was caused by the soldiers on duty. The citizens would go on and provoke the soldiers both verbally and physically. Keeping your emotions in check is very important in this kind of work, if a soldier does not follow these unspoken rules, they can get themselves in serious trouble. “Notwithstanding which, single quarrels could not be prevented, the inhabitants constantly provoking and abusing the soldiery.
