In my opinion the Boston Massacre started because of the Bostonians. I will share three reasons why I feel the Bostonians were at fault for the Boston Massacre.
It all began when some Bostonians walked out of a pub and created a disturbance with some officers (Redcoats) who were standing on the corner of the street. One Bostonian in the group first yelled out at one of the officers that he did not pay the wig maker. A ruckus was started between the first officer and the Bostonian, which quickly escalated when another officer stepped forward to defend the first officer who was in dispute. It was then that the Bostonian mob became angry and packed and threw a snowball into the crowd of officers.
The second reason I believe the Bostonians were to blame is because they rang the church bells for more people to come and witness what was occurring. They wanted to bring a crowd to the area, which resulted in multiple people getting hurt. …show more content…
It was because the Bostonians were trying to knock the soldiers muskets out of their hands. This resulted in the shots being fired.
In conclusion, I strongly believe that the Bostonians were to blame for starting the Boston Massacre because they created the disturbance, they brought more people to the scene who ended up hurt, and they were trying to take the guns away from the officers. This tragedy could have been
