The lesson I chose was Sunflowers by Judie Haynes. I found this lesson at EverythingESL.net. (http://www.everythingesl.net/lessons/sunflowers_82804.php ) This lesson looks fun and has the ability to reach a variety of learners with many differentiations. Another item I would have adapted for ELL students would be when they are completing the cloze worksheet I would add pictures to the vocabulary so that the students can connect the words to the pictures. Also, putting the students in small groups or pairs to complete the task. The high intermediate students, as well as the proficient students should have no problems completing this activity, especially if they are working in pairs. This also goes along with Reading grade three to five; ELL stage III: Standard one: The students will demonstrate understanding of print concepts of the English language. (ADE,
