We understand the term “passion” as enthusiasm for life. In Kafka’s case it was not enthusiasm as such, but tearing his aching soul manifested one through all its work. In the metaphor of the transformation into a bug, Kafka shows us the deep human suffering, contempt of his condition through his own suffering, his sense of exile towards life and society. Gregor is never a bug, social maladjustment and the relationships with other members of his family makes it really is. This reflect Kafka`s conception of himself, his desire for self-destruction and the problem with the body and sexuality. The fact that the father would throw the apple is not causality. The apple is a symbol between man and god, in Kafka`s book he is transformed into his father absolute contempt to his offspring and not the reverse. Most important, it`s not the suffering from Gregor, but what he causes unwittingly to his parents and sister. Metamorphosis is clearly a critique of absorption in which capitalism is the subject. Samsa is the person who reincarnates the absurdity of existence and concerns about complying with a work schedule and chore world. He is a bug in which he is not distressed about being an animal, but because it has to go to work, society has made him a sick person. However, Freud discomfort culture shows in an equal way a sick society, and in the same way it is the humanity that has sickened him. Man is to blame for his sequal instinct repressed by culture and evidence of aggression and mentality symptoms such as neurosis and phsycopaathy that lead him to be an unhappy man in the world.
