Going to a liberal arts college has many benefits. As a student, learning the liberal arts helps make challenging decisions, and helps handle a situation intellectually. It improves communication skills, as well as helps collaborate with others in a mature and educated way. The liberal arts core is important to be independent in the community and society. No matter what your major is, having a liberal arts background is highly beneficial for your career and life. Gaining the knowledge about the liberal arts will help me succeed in my major and my future job. It will give me critical-thinking skills, and the ability to think rationally. It will also make me a responsible person, who has the ability to empower others to achieve greater levels in their life.
As a Pre-Physician Assistant major, liberal arts core will later help me respond to patients better, and connect to them deeper. Learning the different …show more content…
Rule 11 says, “Surprise others by performing random acts of kindness. Go out of your way to do something surprisingly kind and generous for someone at least once a month.” (Clark) This quote teaches us to be kind and serve others in need to make them feel better.
